good morning my name is james derreck b destura or you can also

call me derek, I am 20 yrs old. before when im just a student, i
learn a lot about communication skills and how to deal with people.
I am skillful in dealing with difficult people and patient in working
with my co students. i have good communications skills.. I
remember when im just a student I joined in a networking company
and I used to talk and communicate to many people for giving them
the opportunity to join in our company. By the help of that
experiences.. my communication skills improved very well. i can
learn how to operate new computer programs very fast because I’m
a fast learner. I am capable doing good behaviors especially during
working hours.I also like to multitask, I prefer to have many things
going on at once because it keeps me interested and moving
forward. I am a team player and i get along with people very well. i
used to dance, play instruments, also im good in music and art and
perform in front of many people. I am someone who believes their
personality will be a big asset to an employer, not least because of
my dedication to my work,but it is my willingness to go above and
beyond what is required, and also my hunger for learning and
developing new skills.I can describe myself as someone who is
some want of actions because I got really bored when Im not doing
productive, so that’s why when there are tasks given to me, im not
just doing my best but doing better than my best. And thats all

DO YOU HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE IN BPO

INDUSTRY?
According to my resume, you will see that I have no experience in
bpo industry but I can assure you that this not a barrier for me not
to continue applying in this kind of job. I would like to tell you that
I am a newbie when it comes to BPO Industry but I can assure you
that I am a good and a fast leaner and I can easily adopt new things
and new environment.My goal is to have a permanent job in the
future so I would have a stable income every month to support my
daily needs and my family. Actually before I signed up on the

center

I am qualified to work in a call center because I possess qualities

which makes one a good call center agent. I am very flexible, I
don’t have complaints with shift work or working at nights and with
split days off. I am willing to learn and to be trained,also explore
about the nature of this industry, I want to find my inner me
working in this kind of job and I am not intimidated with learning
new things.I am very patient and I know how to deal with stress. I

Why do you want to work for our company

For me, umm because I take first some research about the
company and so far I have heard nothing but good things about this
company from people who have worked here. People say that the
accounts here are very stable,the management is so kind to it’s
employee and everyone is friendly.

Why should we hire you

I have the qualities that a good call center agent should possess. I
am punctual, disciplined, patient and flexible and organized. you
wont have any problems with me when it comes to attendance and
my behavior because i believe that having a complete attendance
and good behavior is the main requirement to be a good call center
agent. I have good communication skills, multitasking skills and I
am fast learner. I can guarantee you that I will be able to deliver
what being asked of me, and I will give 100% to this company. I am

What is your expected salary

Based on my research this company is giving a basic salary starting
at 15k here in Naga site but for me, Whatever amount you give to
the people with my qualifications would be fine because firstly I am
a newbie in this industry so I should not expect a bigger salary for
a newbie like me. Thank you

How do you see yourself five years from now?

I see myself working for this same company but with a higher position.

What are your goals in life?

My short term goal is to have a stable job with this company. After working
for a couple of years with this company, I would like to see myself take on
more responsibilities like maybe become a supervisor or a trainer.
Meanwhile, my long term goal is to have an upper management level
position with this company

I know that this company is one of the leading companies in the call center
industry because I did a research to this company. Based on my research
You have several sites in the world, one in Atlanta, and four in Dallas. . I
also happen to know that most of the accounts in this call center company
are very stable because this is what my friends who work here tell me.

What is your idea of quality customer service?

My idea of quality customer service is going out of your way or going the
extra mile to provide customer service or to help customers. It is not simply
providing assistance according to what you are expected of. A quality
customer service is like understanding the main problem, giving empathy
to the client and also showing some respect.

What is your idea of a call center?

my idea of a call center is that it is a place where people take calls from
customers and deliver an excellent customer service experience. I know
that the people who work for call centers are extremely flexible people who
adapt to different cultures, different people, and different schedules all at
the same time.
Why do you want to work in a call center?
I’d like to work in a call center because I have the skills to match the ones
needed for this job.in my previous course, I learned a lot about
communication skills and how to deal with people. As a student, I am
skillful in dealing with difficult people and patient in working with my other
classmates. In my course, we were taught how to be a good listeners
which I know, is a very valuable skill in this industry. I also know from my
friends that the chances of career growth in this industry are high. And last
thing, I want to find my inner me working in this kind of job with this
company. I want to discover and explore the nature of bpo industry and at
the same time I want to develop my skills and learn new things. And thats

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

I am a very patient person capable of dealing with irate and demanding
customers. I can think out of the box, so I have exceptional problem-
solving skills. I have good communications skills, and I can learn how to
operate new computer programs very fast. I am a team player, and I get
along with people very well. Those are my strengths. As for my
weaknesses, I guess my biggest weakness is working too much and not
knowing when to stop. I would say that this is a weakness because
sometimes, I would render too much over time that it becomes detrimental
to my health why? Because we cant work without a healthy body. Thank

Give me one quality that you have which will not

make me hire you.
A lot of my friends say that I am a perfectionist. I never consider something
done as long as I don’t find it perfect. In my previous school, I sometimes
would go on over time just to make sure that I complete all my tasks and
assignments; and they are done to perfection. I show up for school every
day when I am a student, and I never came late. I remember that when I
was still in school, I never missed an assignment or a project. I also
remember that whenever we were tasked to come up with a play, I would
always be the one who would be insisting that we practice three times a
week, and all my classmates would complain and get mad at me saying
that they only want to practice once a week. Being a perfectionist can be
bad especially when the people around you are lazy but I believe that in
certain situations, it can be a valuable trait. I have that trait that sometimes
I want all the things around me should be organized , I want a clear and
clean work. And that’s all.
Why do donuts have a hole in them?

putting a hole in the middle of the dough allows the insides and the outsides
to cook evenly, creating a perfect donut. And for me it is not just about how
the dough was cooked it also describe the behavior of a person in real life. It
says that you don’t have to be perfect for you to become a successful person
in the future, you just have to work hard nonstop like the shape of a donut that
don’t have any corners it is just still go on and on….and that’s all thank you.

Yes I have but actually this is already not a workable equipment because my
laptop is now 3years old and it is not functioning well.

Why did you stop studying?

- I’d stop studying because of financial reasons, I could no longer afford to stay in
school so i decided to find a job that will help me to support my family needs
because we are in crisis or pandemic so money is very hard to find so that’s why I
am applying to this job to have a stable income.

- For me, I will not go for it because I already made a decision to apply to your

Describe the color (color) to a blind person.

- Since I am aware that the person i am speaking with is visually impaired, i
will not be able to let him use his sense of sight to identify a certain color.
However, i can still use his other senses for me to explain it better.i can use
his sense of (sense) for that matter. i will let him.

INTERVIEW QUESTION 1 – When have you handled huge pressure in a work-

related situation?
- Before when im just a student I decided to join in a networking company that is
consider as a work for me because that was my source of income before so, id
handled a huge pressure talking to a customer because I use to communicate and
convince them to join in our company. Some of my customers are getting mad at me
because they always think that it is a scam and that is a huge pressure for me but I
always do my best TO find a specific and convincing words to push them to join in our
company.

INTERVIEW QUESTION 2 - Can you describe a stressful situation and how you
handled it?
- Before when im still in school,I always encounter stressful situations such as
answering activities, projects, preparing for an exam, doing drawing plates and
missing online lectures that is very stressful but I always motivate my self to just push
it very hard, do all the activities and all the plates, avoid unecesary behaviors and the
most important thing is focusing because that keeps me on moving forward to handle
harder stressful situation.

INTERVIEW QUESTION 3 – Can you give an example of how you dealt with
conflict in the workplace?

- yes I can, in my previous part time job as a recruiter in a networking company,

there’s someone seemed to dislike me,During meetings he would ignore all my report
and he made a number of unacceptable comments about my performance. So I
decided to approach him everyday to have closure and from that moment whenever
it,s time for me to report , I always give my 100% when reporting my work to impress
him and I did impress him in some other ways so from that moment he always say that
he’s so proud of me being his downline.

INTERVIEW QUESTION 4 – Can you tell me about a mistake you made at work
and how you handled it?

- I can relate this in my previous school, Im doing a report and I made a mistake
because im not prepared, I was so embarrassed to my groupmates because reporting
is just my contribution and I cant do it right. However, they’d understand my situation
and I apologize for what I did. I told them that I will do my best next time and I actually
did!, our group has the highest grade when it comes to reporting and that time my
groupmates are very proud of me because I did my best to have a good performance.

QUESTION 5 – Can you tell me about a time you had to deal with an irate
customer or client?

Yeah of course, when I joined in a networking company before, I always encounter

difficult people and irate customers. I used to communicate and convince them to be
part of our company but they always seemed bored and they always want to leave in a
meeting because they think that what im offering is a scam. Some of my customers
getting mad at me saying that they are just wasting their time and money to this
company. So I decided to convince them more by offering more benefits and
opportunity.
