Physics-Wallah (PW) is an Indian edtech startup that was founded in 2020. Alakh Satish
Pandey is the founder and CEO of PW. Its main headquartered located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The startup primarily focuses on providing affordable online education, especially in the field
of science and engineering.
Alakh Pandey was born in 2 October 1991, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh. He did
his schooling at Bishop Johnson School and joined Harcourt Butler Technical Institute to
pursue his graduation in Mechanical Engineering. He dropped out of college when he was in
his third year of engineering. He was very passionate about teaching that’s why he started
teaching class 8 students. Later, he opened a youtube channel named as “Physicswallah”.
