Formed and developed in the 16th century, Hoi An- an ancient town located on the banks
of the poetic Hoai river, belongs to the coastal plain of Quang Nam province, was once
one of the most bustling international trading ports in the region. In the 16th century, this
was a place containing traders' goods from China, Japan, the Netherlands, India and
Spain,... Therefore, Hoi An is considered as a cultural convergence and fusion of Eastern
and Western cultures. Up to now, Hoi An has become an indispensable famous
destination in the journey to explore the middle/ Central region.
Hoi An ancient city is famous for its typical architecture of the traditional trading port of
Southeast Asia and is still preserved almost intact. Throughout the ups and downs of
history, the flow of time has bestowed upon Hoi An a serene and tranquil beauty . In
contrast to the modern metropolis, Hoi An impresses visitors with its moss-roofed
houses, ancient gold-painted walls, and lanterns that make up the Hoi An brand.

Walking in Hoi An, visitors will have the opportunity to visit hundred-year-old pagodas
(such as Cau Pagoda, Phuoc Lam Pagoda, Van Duc Pagoda...), admire the works of the
Chinese people with sophisticated and colorful architecture, immerse themselves in the
bustling festival atmosphere with folk games such as singing Bai Cho, etc drilling,
playing chess...
In particular, an interesting experience to try when coming to Hoi An is the release of

lanterns. From Bach Dang wharf, small boats gently drift along the poetic Hoai River,
visitors should enjoy the scenery of the old town at night, feel the cool air in each wind,
listen to the attractive stories of Hoi Dang town and release the fanciful lanterns with
