OBJECTIVES:
To do the exercises from the worksheet.
To use the affirmative form of the verb „to be”.
To recognize the members of the family.
AIMS:
To use the affirmative form of the verb „to be”.
To learn important vocabulary about numbers and family
members.
ACTIVITY 1: WARM UP
AIM: To make them comfortable with English class.
PROCEDURE:
The teacher greets the student and asks them how they are
today.
The teacher presents herself and will also talk about what they
will do today.
The teacher asks the students what date is today (11th October).
INTERACTION: Teacher-students.
ORGANISATION: whole class, individual.
TIMING: 2 minutes.
ACTIVITY 4:
AIM: To introduce a part from the new topic.
PROCEDURE:
The teacher plays the listening for the students.
The teacher asks the students to read the text from the book.
The teacher asks the students to underline the unknown words,
if they exist.
The teacher will ask the students about their family members.
The teacher will give an example: „In my family there’s me, my
dad, my mom, my sister, my brother and my grandmother. I
have a lot of cousins, aunts and uncles.”
The teacher will do the liveworksheets exercices.

The teacher will write and translate, on the blackboard the
affirmative form of the verb „to be”.
The teacher will ask the students to give some examples with
each form.

ACTIVITY 6: EVALUATION
AIM: To see what they understood from today.
PROCEDURE:
The teacher asks the student what they talked about.
The teacher congrats the students and gives them candies for
their activity.
The teacher will give the following homework: My family tree.
