F8078 Speed loop error


The velocity control loop monitoring triggers if the following conditions occur simultaneously:

"Torque/Force: Torque demand" (0x6074:00 / P-0-0049 / --) is at the torque/force limit.


"Torque/Force: Torque demand" (0x6074:00 / P-0-0049 / --) and the actual velocity have different signs.
The actual velocity at the motor shaft is greater than 20 rpm (or 20 mm/min for linear motors).
Actual acceleration and control deviation have different signs.

Cause Remedy

Motor phases (U, V, W) interchanged so that Check motor cable connection and correct
commutation of motor is incorrect phase assignment, if necessary.
Note: The wired rotating field direction
(U > V > W) can be checked using the
direction of motion check when executing
the command C3700.

Incorrect encoder arrangement Correct the encoder equipment (inverting


rotational direction of encoder might
resolve the problem)
Note: With the help of the encoder
validation check during the execution of the
command C3700, the rotational direction of
the encoder can be checked.

Incorrect velocity controller setting Check velocity controller setting according


to Functional Description/Application
Manual

Incorrect commutation offset Make commutation settings, if possible

Cause Remedy

For voltage-controlled motor operation: Deactivate velocity control loop monitoring


in "Axis configuration: Word" (0x2200:01 /
Motor is operated in a voltage-controlled way
P-0-0556 / --)
(without encoder; V/Hz (U/f) control); with this
type of motor control, velocity control loop
monitoring does not make sense
