For Amir, I believe that LAN, Local Area Network is the most suitable

type of connection for Amir. LANs are fast and share a single wired
connection between several devices and the disadvantage would be
that there is low privacy for the network.
 Scenario 2: The network spans across multiple geographic locations,
often globally.
This would apply to WAN (Wide Area Network).

With WAN, it is a relatively large network that is normally two or more LANs
that are linked, it is a very extensive network but there is a greater chance of
errors occurring as data is transferred over longer distance.

 Scenario 3: All users are directly connected to each other without the
need for a server.
This would apply to Peer-to-peer networks.

With peer to peer, it is a simple network system where only two computers
are connected in a home, and it can also be a complicated system where
hundreds of peer computers are connected using the internet. A peer-to-peer
network does not have a central point of control therefore all peers in the
network have the same level of responsibility and capability. It is cheap to
set up but they are not centrally backed up by the network so if a peer loses
data, it is lost for everyone.
