MULTITRUCK ELECTRIC BYPASSES

Here is some extra Free info and things to look at on your diagram if you want to bipass the original
battery charger and or ECU.

PLease note we do not Sell or provide any advise on how to modify your vehicle nor do we suggest that
you attempt any modifications. Please consult a Auto-Electrician.

On the 1me222 ecu diagram on the 1st page of the diagrams the Output wire (grey) M4 runs from the
1me222 through a relay R3 to the speed controller and inputs at terminal 03 labelled as Mode 2/4 on
the Speed Controller! This wire signals the Speed Controller to change Mode from Normal Operation to
Limp Mode (fault mode).

Follow that through on the drawing !

This is the general fault circuit !

Or Voyant Defaut General in French !

Now when your battery charger is broken it will put your vehicle into "LimpMode" or "ecoMode" and it
will lock it in slow mode until you fix your battery charger or replace batteries !!!

Cutting the M4 wire will put your speed controller back into its Default Mode or Full Speed Mode !

The ecu will also put the eco light on your dashboard using Output B1 on the ECU (Voyant Eco) or Eco
Light in English !!!

Cutting this wire B1 will stop the ECO light on your Dashboard !

Output J4 from the 1me222 ECU to your speed controller is the Major Fault Switch Wire this will put
your speed controller into Lock Down Mode should it decide your vehicle should no longer be on the
road !

What you decide to do with these wires is totally your perogative !!!

The main problem when your battery charger goes wrong is you get locked into LimpMode and you are
restricted to 20mph !!

Once you've solved that issue you can add a new battery charger of your choice to your battery pack or
any where else you see fit.

Some people leave their broken battery charger in circuit whilst others choose to remove it from the
vehicle. If you choose to remove it you will need to bridge across the 2 wire plug J14 which is the 2 wire
plug that plugs into the battery charger !!!!

Another interesting point is that you can actually unplug/remove the 1me222 and the 1me221 from the
vehicle and drive off without doing any modifications at all but you will have No Lights on your
Dashboard !! But indicators and headlights will still work !! E1 input on the ecu is your Dashboard lights
switch wire which is initiated from your KSI or key switch ignition its a +12volt wire !

Hope this extra free information helps as we do not sell or supply instructions or advise on how to
modify your vehicle !

if you are removing the ecu and the aixam battery charger here is a tip on how to get the dashboard to
switch on with the KSI or key switch ignition

Find the PLUG J11 ... its up against the bulkhead... its a GREY/BLACK PLUG with 5 wires ...2 RED & 3
White

Now find the white wire labelled J12-E1/J11-5 on the J11 PLUG this will turn your dashboard on (12v)

the relays from your KSI are R1 R2 & R3 between these 3 relays are 3 bridge wires a RED 1, a White 1 and
a Black 1

if you connect your dashboard on wire (J12-E1/J11-5) From the PLUG J11 to the WHITE BRIDGE WIRE
between R1 & R2 you might be halfway to getting lights on your dashboard again ! right

then THE BLACK BRIDGE WIRE also between R1 and R2 Needs to go to ground

now you should have dashboard working off KSI providing you have also bridged across PLUG J14
(charger plug/2wire)

i think thats it , i dont normally get into the details !

you may need to do some work a wire or two proberly to get the heater working, not sure as i never
bothered

Other than that PLEASE NOTE your battery level indicator will not work properly again but can be
stopped from Flashing Empty by Grounding the A4 wire !!!

i cant really remember much more than that right now but you should be well on your way now

Have Fun
