    Scope of Works

    Construction of a 6 classroom school in Hamediya village, Sub of Namrud


    Ninawa Gov.

    1. PROJECT BACKGROUND

    a. Project description:
    The objective construction of this 6-classroom Hamediya primary School is to restore
    primary education to the children in Hamediya Village. The building is owned and
    operated by Dept. of Education, Ninawa Governorate.

    b. Direct and indirect beneficiaries:


    i. Direct beneficiaries: 12 Teachers employed (6 males and 6 female) with 150 students

    ii. Indirect beneficiaries: 650 houses with a population of around 5,000 people (2,750
    males and 2,250 female).

    c. Impact after completion


    Restoration of basic education to the students of Hamediya Village with the surrounding
    areas and prepare them for secondary education. Providing education for 150 students.

    2. LOCATION:
    The project is located at Hamediya primary School in Hamediya Village - Sub of Namroud
    Education - Ninawa Gov. Coordinates GPS (36.013328, 43.36612)

    3. BUILDING CONSTRUCTION DESCRIPTION:


    The Hamediya primary School is a one-story construction, with 6 classrooms, bathrooms,
    and two management offices. The school is located inside a walled compound, with one
    shift per day.

    4. WORKS IN BRIEF:
    The construction work includes civil, sanitary and electrical works.
     The civil part of the works includes but not limited to Remove all the classrooms,
    administration rooms and sanitary facilities that made from the sandwich panel ,site
    preparation, Backfilling by Sub-base , Excavation Works , Foundation Concrete,
    Under DPC Wall, Blinding Concrete , Concrete works (Yard), Solid concrete block
    walls , Reinforced Concrete for Slabs and Beams, Mosaic tiles, Skirting, Exterior
    Surround Sidewalk, PVC windows with Burglar, Main gate foundation and columns,
    plastering ,Steel doors, PVC doors , PVC windows, Painting, crystal clear glass and
    suspended ceiling as indicated on the BoQ.
    Scope of Works

     The sanitary works includes but not limited to water tank installation, ceramic
    lavatory pedestal, Eastern toilet with siphon, Building of Drinking Bench, Septic
    Tank, Water network, drainpipes, PPR water pipes maintain and water pump as
    indicated on the BoQ.
     The electrical works includes but not limited to main distribution board, sub
    distribution boards, power cable, ceiling fan, fluorescent fixture, switches, brackets,
    outdoor lighting, split Unit Air-Conditioning (2 ton), Pipe Earthing System, Solar
    Water Heater and electrical water boiler as indicated on the BoQ.

    5. DURATION OF THE PROJECT
