What did you purchase?
This digital escape room is a fun,
interactive, digital game created to test
your students knowledge and team work.
Students work in teams of 2 or 3 as they
complete challenges and unlock codes.

What do the students need?


The students will need a device
(ChromeBook, Tablet, laptop, desktop, or
smart phone) with an Internet connection.
The escape is made with Google Apps, so
your students will need to have a Google
Account to open some of the challenges. I
suggest paper and pencil to do their work
on. You could collect this.

What you need to know ...
The directions and suggestions are listed
at the top of the site. The link to the
Google Site is at the bottom of each page
in this manual. Copy and share the link
with your students.
Lock Code Google Form
The LOCK CODE Google Form
is where your students will
enter each code they solve.
Images
Each image is a challenge that will
unlock a code to enter into the
LOCK CODE Google Form.

The digital escape
room consists of 4
challenges. Each
challenge ends with
a code. Each code
will be entered on
this form. If the
student enters an
incorrect code, the
Form will show a red
"!" and a hint. The
form will not let
them submit until all
codes are correct.

Long Division
5-Digit Lock
Step 1 Click "MAKE A COPY"
Step 2 Complete all five long division
questions in the challenge.
Make sure to show work and
pay attention to the color box
in each problem.
Step 3 To unlock the code, the
students must collect the
digits that they placed in each
colored box and put these
digits in order of the colors of
the rainbow. Red is the first
color of the rainbow so the
first digit of the code will be
the digit in the red box.
5-Digit Lock Code = 36531

Add/Sub Decimals
8 Letter Color Lock

Step 1 Click "MAKE A COPY"


Step 2 Complete all eight addition &
subtraction questions in the
challenge. The correct answer will
change the cell color. The students
will use the first initial of each color
to solve this lock code.
Step 3 Answer Sheet is below.

One Word Lock

Step 1 Click "MAKE A COPY"

Step 2 Match the product of each


question with the product at the
bottom of the challenge. Place
the coordinating letter on the
line above the matching product
at the bottom of the challenge to
unlock the code.

Step 3 The letters will spell out the One


Word Lock Code with
punctuation. Make sure to
captilazie each letter of the word
when entering into the Lock
Code Google Form.

Divide Decimals
Four Letter Lock

Step 1 Click "MAKE A COPY"

Step 2 Find the quotient of each


problem. Each correct quotient
is next to a letter that is part of
the lock code.

Step 3 The letters will spell out the lock


code. Make sure to capitalize
each letter when entering the
code into the Lock Code Google
Form.

Graphic Organizer
Optional
There is a graphic organizer available in the top
section of the Digtial Escape Room. The
organizer is a Google Doc. To use, the students
will need to click MAKE A COPY.
Possible Uses This Doc can be used if the
escape room takes
multiple days and the
students would like to save
their answers in their
Google Drive prior to
submitting.

The teacher could also use


this Doc as a way for their
students to submit their
lock code answers to the
teacher, rather than
through the Form.
