flow Reynolds number and convective heat transfer coefficient. Ans. 1.72×105, 34.7 W/m2-K
Problem 2.3: If the temperature profile at a particular location on the surface of a plate is given by
undisturbed fluid and y is the perpendicular distance from the plate at that location. If the thermal
conductivity of the fluid is 0.03 W/m-K, find the value of the heat transfer coefficient. Ans. 6
