What's the weather like where you live?

Apparently, since South Korea has a temperate climate, we have all sorts
of weather in my area. It can be freezing cold in winter, scorching hot in
summer, and everything in between.

Honestly, I prefer cold weather because I don't like sweating a lot on a
sweltering day. I'm also a big fan of winter fashion, so I love it when it's
chilly because I can be more expressive with what I wear.

I'd rather have wet than dry weather as I have very sensitive skin. Even
though I love winters, I don't like it when it gets too dry as I often suffer
from chapped lips.

Are you in the habit of checking the weather forecast? When/ How
often?

You could say that! It's probably because I have a weather widget on the
home screen of my phone so I can't help but check the weather every
single day.

What do you think are the effects of climate change in recent

years?

I guess one of the adverse effects of climate change is the increasing

temperatures, especially in summer. The other thing that I've observed is
that there is a definite increase in the intensity of the typhoon we are
getting here in East Asia these days.

Would you like to visit other cities that have different climates
from where you live?

Absolutely! I've always loved visiting countries in the tropics like Indonesia
and the Philippines. In fact, I have already ticked the Bahamas off my
bucket list as one of my future travel destinations.
Birthday
What do you usually do on your birthday?

It varies. I don't really plan my birthday by myself. Before my better half

came into my life, my parents tended to bring me cake and cook my
favorite food like beef stew.

However, when I started dating, I normally went on a three-day trip to the

coastal areas of my home town or anywhere in my country. One thing is
for sure.

I never eat any kind of food with chicken or egg. Instead, I eat egg
noodles, as it has been a tradition in our family for decades now.

Well, as I mentioned, I used to celebrate it with my family in a small

intimate gathering by having cake and my favorite food. My brothers were
extra kind to me during that day, so they didn't tease me or anything like
that. Also, I was inclined to demand a toy of my liking as my birthday gift.

Honestly, yes! When my family and my best friend to surprise me on my

twenty-fifth birthday, I was quite disappointed when they pretended not to
remember me on that day. They made sure to make me feel less special
earlier on that day. At night, as I was about to enter our home like any
ordinary night, I was taken aback to see that they were organizing a secret
birthday bash.

That's a no-brainer. That would be xxxx, the president?. If not for his
bravery to stand against the Japanese, I think we would still be under their
tyranny or we wouldn't have progressed as much as we have. I really
appreciate all the effort she did for our freedom.

I believe that every stage of my life plays a crucial role in building who I
am now. I mean, each milestone I had in life, be it a success or a failure, I
learned something from them and I became a better version of myself.

What's your plan for your next stage of life?

For one I'm determined to move to another country and pursue better
academic and career goals. And that's exactly the reason why I'm here in
this room right now. Also if given any luck, I hope to live a more laid-back
lifestyle there.

I do not often wear jewelry, I prefer to keep my simple and minimalist.

had so many doubts about myself and my skills. I kept asking myself.

risk in less than a day. I received an invitation from the company for an
interview the next day despite being anxious yet excited.

I did my best to be confident during the interview and show my worth.I

was in Cloud Nine when the interviewer said that I had made a great
impression and asked me to start working immediately. It was such a big
success for someone who is a greenhorn in this field. I am proud to say
that I am very good at this job.

I didn't regret my decision to work as an online English teacher. It has

changed my life completely. I was able to help my husband alleviate our

since we last had our holiday. All of our jobs are so stressful, especially in
my case because I always have to work overtime. We stayed in a hotel
and we visited a lot of restaurants and other facilities there. When we
arrived on the island, I went over my budget because I spent a lot of

Paddy plant or rice plant is a very common plant which grows in plenty in
our country. If you ever go to the countryside in the autumn season, you
will find the stunning paddy plants in many fields and they would seem
dancing with the rhythms of the wind. This plant requires fertile land, a
good supply of water and sunlight to grow well. Rice is our staple food and
we get rice from these paddy plants.

The paddy plant is a medium-sized shrub that is thin. The leaves and body
of this plant are green. Usually, the outer layer of the rice seeds are green
in the early stage but become yellowish when it is ripe. Our economy
heavily depends on our rice production so this is an important crop for us.

Since I live in a city now, I don't see these plants here. But in my
childhood, whenever I went to visit our village, I found this plant in every
field during the harvesting season. Farmers cultivate paddy plants acres
after acres of lands and wish to produce a good quantity and quality of
