Example - CROSSROADS ROUTE SUMMARY - DEC 2022
SCREENSHOTS:
Once you have the screenshot of the routes, you will also need 3 more screenshots. The routes
screenshot will be turned into your segment summary (see example below) then will need a
screenshot of the follow :
-Routes (segment summary)
- Remaining Meters. (see example below)
- Overview of the MAP
-REMINDER – TAKE SCREENSHOTS BEFORE YOU SYNC DATA. SOMETIMES IF YOU
UPLOAD DATA BEFORE IT WILL DELETE SOME INFO THAT IS REQUIRED IN THE
SCREENSHOTS
5
SEGMENT SUMMARY EXAMPLE:
This is the example for Ste.Anne. You take the screenshot of the routes and use Word or
Google Docs to create your segment summary. Just copy and paste the screenshot onto the
doc and add in the above information just as pictured. Then download it as a microsoft word doc
or a pdf. NOTE: if you download the segment summary as a PDF, Daphne cannot edit it so it
has to be 100% perfect. Use microsoft word if available before PDF.
6
REMAINING METERS SCREENSHOT:
Remaining Meters Screenshot is found by clicking on the icon squared in red on left hand
side. Then you will have to filter in order to find the remaining/missed meters. To do that you will
click the top drop down tab on the top right. That will drop down filter options and in the “Status”
filter bar you will select “Missed” and then scroll to the bottom of the filter bar and click “Apply”.
That will show you all the remaining meters to take a screenshot of and email into Daphne.
NOTE: If there are lots and lots of meters remaining, then just send one screenshot of the first
page like in the example adobe.
-If you can get all remaining meters in two screenshots then send both of them. Only send one
screenshot if in order to show all meters will be an excessive amount of screenshots.
7
MAP SCREENSHOT:
This will be the last screenshot needed with the new software. You will go to the map and take a
screenshot of the overview of your routes. Use zoom to allow the entire area to be included in
the screenshot and zoom as close as it will allow with keeping everything visible.
8
NOTE: YOU MUST UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL A FRESH INSTALLATION OF ITRON FOR
EACH DIFFERENT CO-OP AND/OR AT THE START OF A PATROL. DO NOT USE ONE
THAT WAS INSTALLED PREVIOUSLY
9
Troubleshooting :
SETTINGS PAGE: This is an example of Ste.Anne setting page. Device name has to be
changed for what route you are doing (ste.anne/crossroads/NPP). Like in early SOP
instructions change both URL & Domain to .ca
RADIO: In this example above the radio isn’t on. Once everything is plugged in in the
plane you will go to this settings page and on the right side under radio click the drop
down bar and select the radio. MAKE SURE “BROKEN RADIO MODE” is OFF
10
otherwise even if you selected the radio it will not let you start the drive by. If broken
radio mode is on it will block the radio and not work.
IF YOUR DOT ON THE MAP FREEZES : Give it a minute or two incase of a small lag.
Then stop your “drive by” and restart it and let it load back into the map.If it remains
frozen and you cant see where you’re going on the map then you will have to close the
ITRON app and re-open it. It will ask you to login again so have the username and
password handy. Sometimes all it will ask for is the email and it will open the app. If it
hasn't been connected to the internet in a long time it might want you to completely
re-sign in. If that is the case you might have to use hotspot wifi from the IPAD in order to
sign into the associated microsoft account. After that restart your drive by and it should
be fixed. But normally it will just ask for the username and then you'll be signed in and
good start drive by.
