New Students Enrollment Fees
One-time Family Enrollment Fee (per family) €2.000

Annual Registration Fee (per student) €500
Deposit (per student) €1.000
The Registration Fee is an annual, mandatory, and non-refundable fee per student. Payment of the
Registration Fee guarantees that there will be a place in the class for the student, but it does not
represent a formal enrollment until the end of June when all formal academic documents for the
previous year confirm the student's academic status. Payment will be due in February on returning
years.
The Deposit Fee per student is to ensure that all payments have been made. This deposit will be
returned once the student is correctly withdrawn or graduates from Atlas ASM and all financial
obligations have been met. The Deposit Fee is not refundable if a place is accepted at the school and
then not taken up.

*A daily menu will be served to all students from Kindergarten through Grade 8. This service is not
mandatory, and students may go home for lunch during the period allotted for this purpose. However,
it is not allowed to bring food from home.
In G9 through G12 it is not required to enroll in the monthly lunch plan. High School students can
choose between the monthly lunch plan or purchase items a la carte, for which they will have a high
school lunch card. The high school lunch card has a preapproved amount selected by the parents. The
cafeteria charges will be billed monthly.
Payment Methods
It is mandatory to provide a European bank account to be charged for the school Fees and school
services by Direct Debit. These will be charged to your bank account in three non-reimbursable
Installments:
● First Installment payment is due by August 30th.

● Second Installment payment is due by December 15th.
● Third Installment payment is due by March 20th.
Please note that a 5% fee will be imposed on late fees not fully paid by the due dates. Cash
payments are not accepted.
If you would like to benefit from the discounts for Upfront Payment, please contact Atlas Finance
([email protected]) to receive your family’s invoice for the 2024/25 school year.

Conditions
● School fees are reviewed on an annual basis.

● All fees are per student.
● Family Discounts on Tuition: A 3rd child enrolled receives a 25% discount, and a 4th child and
additional children receive a 60% discount.
● Tuition Fees include textbooks, online licenses, and basic school supplies (K1 - G10), college
counseling, transcripts, day field trips, and laboratory materials. These fees include the annual
Tuition Insurance Policy, which guarantees the continuity of studies for all students enrolled at
Atlas American School of Málaga in the event of the death of one of the parents/ legal guardians.
● Tuition Fees do not include:

○ School uniforms: families can purchase these through our website.
○ Textbooks and online licenses for the IB or Grade 11 and Grade 12.
○ Support for ESL (English as a Second Language), SSL (Spanish as a Second Language) or
SSS (Student Support Services).
○ IB Certificates for American High School Diploma students: 600€ per subject made in a
one-time payment in G12.
○ Fees for recognition of official documents such as Spanish Diplomas, UNED registration, and
AP exams. The school will manage these processes and will only charge the costs incurred
by the different third-party institutions.
○ Other departmental and/or residential trips and league sports are subject to separate cost
arrangements.
● Please note that parents are liable for any bank charges associated with their payments, including
those incurred for returned or for charges not honored by the banks.
● Kindly keep in mind that failure to meet the deadlines for timely payment of the installments by a
family could mean the interruption of the schooling of the students enrolled until the debt is
settled. Atlas American School of Malaga reserves the right to definitively cancel the student(s)
enrollment if this situation persists.
Withdrawal
A family that wishes to withdraw a student from the school must give notice to
[email protected] at least 10 days before the due date of the next installment, otherwise,
the Deposit Fee will not be returned.
To cancel any school services (e.g. Lunch, Bus…) for the following Installment Payment, the family
must notify [email protected] before the 15th of the last month of the preceding Installment
Payment.
