Slst in each next st (along the v’s of the final round). Continue
as followed: * 2 slst sideways, slst in each st, downwards, slst
in each st upwards*. You should end along the starting chain
of the feathers. Fasten off.

feathers (along the right side for the right handed). Continue
like you did at wing 1. You should end in corner B. Fasten off.
Check the last pages of the pattern for extra pictures of the
wings. Make sure the wings mirror each other.
Optional: crochet an edge of slst along the top of the feathers.
Right handed (top), left handed (bottom). C and D are the corners of wing 1, this is the wing that's turned around.
A and B are the corners of wing 2. The contrast should be on the top. You work in the front ór back loop of the
feather stitches.

Wing 2: turn the wing around, work in the back loop only (front loop if you are looking from
the front side). Start in the 3th st from corner B.

Wings part 6 [2x]:
In the colours of the body.
Close the side by working through part 2 and 3. Join in the first white stitch from part 4 or 5
in the corner. It doesn’t matter if you’re a stitch off
the stitch count of round 1, as long as it doesn't
wrinkle.Skip a stitch if it’s needed.
Rnd 1: 14 hdc, tch
Rnd 2-3: [2 rounds] sc in each st. Don’t fasten off!
Slide the wing in the wing base, with the angled
sides next to each other. The light part of the base is
the bottom.
Work one row more if you have to much space left in
the base. Take a round off if you’re short on space. It
should be pretty snug. Fasten off with a long thread.
Place the feathers in the base, a bit of white from
part 5 should still be visible. Sew through the
stitches of the base, so the threat isn’t visible on the
top and/or bottom.
Place the wings, starting at round 23, with about 14
sc in between on top of the body. Attach the wings.
Make sure they are straight on the body.
Optional: place the wings a bit higher on top of the body and pull an iron wire through the
wing base and body to form a landing duck.

Contrast
Use taupe and light grey
Start in the bottom corner, in the first ch of round 1. Slst on
around the feathers of the tail, like you did with the wings. (The
pictures below are left handed, so if you’re right handed it
should look mirrored).
Place the tail on the same height as the wings, around the
back of the body. It should fit tight against the wings.
The next pages contain extra pictures of the wing proces. The right handed pictures can be
found on pages 9-12, the lefthanded on page 13-16, so you don’t have to print all pages.
That's it for your pretty duck, I hope you had fun!
