Learning Objectives Main : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
ask and answer to at least three questions by turn taking about
sports and countries in their groups during the hot seat activity.
Comp : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
answer at least three questions asked by the teacher or their
friends individually during the exit car activity.
Success Criteria Main : I can ask and answer questions about sports in different
countries with my friends during out hot seat activity
Comp : I can answer the questions asked by my teacher and
friends on my own

Language / Grammar Vocabulary: Sports and countries.
Focus Grammar: I’ve got …, I’m from …, Yes, I am./No, I’m not.
Activities : Pre-lesson 1. Give Ss three minutes to write down as many sports and
countries as they can remember in pairs.
2. The pair that writes down the most sports and countries win.
3. Have the winners tell the class the sports and the countries
that they have written.
Lesson Development 1. T divides the whiteboard into 4 sections.
2. T writes a question on each section.
3. Ss are given wait time to think of the answers.
4. Ss write their answers on the board and practise answering
orally in pairs. (C)
5. Ss are divided into small groups.
6. Each of them is given an information card.
7. Ss will take turn to be in the hot seat. (M)
8. Other Ss will start asking questions (in step 2) and guess the
number of the information card.
Post Lesson 1. Exit Card: Pupils retell the information of the card based on
the sentence structures learnt (Formative Assessment)
