ABOUT THE SCHOOL
At Hillwoods Academy, we strive to offer high quality

modern education environment with superb resources
designed to meet pupils individual needs. We train students
to become men and women of strong character, right
principles and compassionate outlook. Excellent teaching
aids and an innovative methodology for the overall
development of a child is our aim. Always endeavoring to
excel in their academic achievements, our pupils regularly
participate and win inter-school sports tournaments, musical
and dramatic events and have a tradition of serving the
community through charity fundraising and social service.

In this pursuit of knowledge, knowing one’s strengths and

weaknesses is vital. At Hillwoods Academy, we try to provide
every opportunity to help our students excel in this competitive
world as the students are the future policy makers.
HAMUN serves as the platform for students to engage in

simulated diplomatic experiences mirroring real United Nations
Conferences. Participants assume roles as delegates
representing various countries, debating global issues, and
crafting resolutions.
Experiential learning, one of our school’s primary focus, lies at
the core of the HAMUN Conference. HAMUN not only
complements but exemplifies our commitment to hands-on,
immersive learning. Students will also actively engage in
debates, negotiations, and public speaking this year, honing
their communication and debating skills. They will articulate
their ideas and effectively collaborate with peers from diverse
background, enhancing their ability to work in diverse teams.
It provides a platform to foster in-depth knowledge of

international affairs, diplomacy, and critical thinking. Through
extensive research and preparation for conferences, students
gain a deep understanding of global problems and the
complexities of international relations.
The students participating in HAMUN are entrusted with
significant responsibilities that empower their leadership,
organisational, and managerial skills, preparing them for future
leadership roles.

platform for students to engage a meaningful debate
gain a deeper understanding of global affair and
develop essential skills such as a diplomacy, critical
thinking and and leadership.
This years MUN conference theme Igniting change

empowering tomorrow has been carefully chosen to
reflect our collective ambition to bring about positive
transformation .We believe that every individual
possess the power to ignite change and through
collective efforts we can create a better and a more
sustainable future.
To all the delegates I urge you to embrace the theme

wholeheartedly. Let it guide your discussion, inspire
your resolution and feel your determination to make a

together to lay the foundation for an enduring
tradition of dialogue, collaboration, diplomacy,
legacy and change.
