CLASS ACTIVITIES
Class Activity 1 – Super Saturday
This activity is not part of this units competency, it is used
to enhance the Learners Knowledge and Experience
Super Saturday Site Visit (students must read the document below prior to
turning up on site)
Super Saturday, also known as Panic Saturday, is the last Saturday before
Christmas, a major revenue-generating day for retailers, and shoppers' traditional
last chance for serious gift buying. As such, Super Saturday features big discounts,
extended store hours, and, for many retailers, one of the best sales days of the
entire year The National Retail Federation (NRF) first began tracking sales on Super
Saturday in 2016. In 2020 the NRF reported that it expected up to 150 million online
and in-store shoppers on Super Saturday. That's second only to the 155.7 million
shoppers who showed up on Super Saturday.
Personal protective equipment, commonly referred to as "PPE", is equipment worn

equipment may include items such as gloves, safety glasses and shoes, earplugs or
muffs, hard hats, respirators, or coveralls, vests and full body suits.
PPE may include:
• Protective gloves

6. What is the orientation of the garage wall, located on the boundary?
According to Vastu Shastra, the ideal location for the Garage is North-west
side, and as a second option, South-east can be considered. Often, northeast
and south-west sides are avoided for car porches which leave the above two
suitable for a garage. In most areas, fences can be installed between 2-8
inches from the boundary line. However, some areas may allow you to build
right up to the property line.
