Assignment Brief:

Scenario:
You are working for an electric and electronics company and your job involves carrying out
research in order to improve and develop the standards of the company and to employ the latest
technological advancements. As part of your training programme, your line manager has asked
you to write a research proposal related to a specific topic. You will be allocated the research
areas and you have to research the following facts. At the same time must use all the different
skills and methods (when needed) that you have learnt. You should report your proposal with the
following factors.
1. Produce a research proposal, analyse the project specification and identify any project risks.
2. Examine appropriate research methods, and approaches to primary and secondary research
and critically analyse literature sources utilized, data analysis conducted, and strategies to deal
with challenges.
3. Evaluate the benefits from the findings of the research conducted.
4. Explore the different types of communication approaches that can be used to present the
research outcomes.

Submission Format:

The submission is in the form of an individual written report. This should be written in a concise,
formal business style using single spacing and font size 12. You are required to make use of
headings, paragraphs, and subsections as appropriate, and all work must be supported with
research and referenced using the APA referencing system. Provide a bibliography using the
APA referencing system. The recommended word limit is 2000-2500 words.
