18 January 2012 LETTER OF INVITATION Dear Colleagues: Greetings! Systems Plus College Foundation School of Criminology and Criminal Justice (SPCF-SCCJ) is an affiliate of the International Society for Criminology (ISC), the Asian Criminological Society (ACS) and the African Youths Initiative on Crime Prevention (AYICRIP) which aimed towards bringing the Filipino community a close ally against the challenges of crimes in the modern world. This school organized a series of events in criminology and criminal justice purposely to create an open door for interactions and academic discussions on the issues luring every sector of the society. These series of events are FREE OF CHARGE/FREE REGISTRATION to give every criminology enthusiast the opportunity to come and actively participate in these conferences. Certificate of Participation and Conference Kits/Materials will be given to each attendees. We request your presence during these occasions so we can collaborate, bring closer ties and friendship among us with fellow participants. All these events will be held at the SPCF Theater, Balibago, Angeles City, starting this January and ends on December this year. Kindly go over the Schedule of Events as herein attached. As much as we want to accommodate all your officers or representatives from your institution, limited seats are available. Hence, this invitation is exclusive to you and ten (10) representatives from your group. In this regard, we hope that you can provide us in advance the names of attendees for proper accommodation and purposes of the entry system. CALL FOR PAPERS In connection with this invitation, we also ask you to submit papers around the common theme: Facing the Challenges of Modern Crimes by Bridging the Gaps between Theory and Practice Abstract Submission Deadline August 11, 2012 Full Paper Submission Deadline September 8, 2012 Paper Presentation (Plenary or Round Table) December 15, 2012 All abstract and Paper should be written in English. References, citations and general style of manuscript should follow the APA format style. The abstract should be limited to 250 words and should describe the purpose of the paper and where it is applicable, the methods and results. Please include also a) Title of the Paper, b) Name/s of Author/s, c) Author Affiliation, d) Brief Biography of author/s, e) Contact/email of author/s and address.
