ftp client.tar.gz to /tmp of the system ,where vsa clients need to be installed.

To install VSA client on Unix system Prerequisite / - 10 MB free /tmp -150 MB free /var ----100 MB free separate /tmp file system . Then check for 6543 port open in both direction it need to work fine

Start installation 1. come to /tmp untar the client.tar.gz

Verify the output Confirm Ping test worked fine. -> WRS VSACOMM Installed -> Running client ping Got Ping! Select Unix e-admin

on manage menu select modify applications

Choose App Name Pearson UNIX

Select host from available hosts list and then click Assign Host(s) to Application And click done

Then run dragnet s on VSA client . ( wait for 40 minutes)

select the system then add then Ok VSA client removel procedure
1) rm /etc/e-admin.conf 2) rm -fr /etc/vsa 3) Remove "dragnet" line in root's cron 4) modify /etc/inittab and remove the line with: "vc:2345:respawn:/etc/vsa/bin/vsacomm/vsacomm" 5) kill -HUP xxxx where xxxx is PID of init. Usually it is "1" 6) rm -rf /tmp/vsacomm* /tmp/e-admin*

VSA need separate /tmp file system. If your system doesnt have temporary /tmp need to set FORCETEMP=1

Then save the file 2. problem port is not open check for status and correct it.

this is the problem with port so the system will not work . work resolve the network issue

3.You may not able to WRS server access to any VSA client . Solution Remove and reinstall VSA client on the client system. Then send a mail to [email protected] for VSA issuses
