(5) Find the value of the polynomial 5 x 3−4 x 2 +3 at ;

(a) x = 0 (b) x = -1 (c) x = 2

(6) Find p(0) , p(1) , p(2) for each of the polynomial :

(a) p(y) = y2 - y + 1 (b) p(t) = 2 + t + 2t2 – t (c) p(x) = ( x +1 ) (x – 3 )

(7) If p(x) = x 2−2 √ 2 x +1 , then p(2√ 2 ¿ is equal to .

(8) Verify whether the following are zeroes of the polynomial , indicated against them .
