relevant studies.
• The rationale of the study is described thoroughly.
• Terms/concepts adequately defined and all necessary information
included - adequate depth provided to understand the proposed
study.
4. Theoretical Framework
• Theoretical Framework shows an understanding of existing theories
relevant to the topic.
• Shows the significance of the research to other existing research.
• The theory is based on the related studies.
5. Conceptual Framework
• Conceptual Framework describes the relationship between specific
variables identified in the study.
• Outlines the input, process, and output of the whole investigation
using a paradigm.
• Provides a narrative explanation of the paradigm presented.
6. Statement of the Problem
• The general statement of the problem capsulized the main problem
stated in the research title.
• The specific problems are consistent with the concepts presented in
the paradigm and did not exceed more than four questions.
• Problem statements are clear, concise, and reflective of the purpose
of the study.
7. Hypothesis
• The hypothesis is not formulated in the form of a question.
• It is specific, precise, and empirically testable, whether right or
wrong.
• Specify variables between which the relationship is to be established.
• The null or alternative hypotheses of the study are given.
8. Scope and Limitation
• The general purpose of the study, the population involved, and the
time element and duration are clearly provided.

1
• The topics or ideas covered in the study, geographical details, and
the theories and methods involved are accurately discussed.
• The factors that can affect the conduct of the study are well-
defined.
9. Significance of the Study
• The importance of the study is specified.
• The benefiters of the study and how they will be benefited are cited.
• The importance of the study includes its contribution to current and
future studies and thought.

idea/concept is not altered.
• The sources of the cited literature are appropriately acknowledged
and or credited using proper in-text citations.
2. Synthesis
• Synthesis of the reviewed studies is well-organized, concise (not too
long nor too short), and is based on the researchers' logical analysis
of the cited materials.
3. Gaps to be Bridged by the Research Project
• The researchers have clearly identified and explained the areas or
problems that are not covered by their study. The gaps bridged by
the study have scope for further research.
