(ii) Water equivalent of bomb and calorimeter = 2000 gm.
(iv) Rise in temp. = 2.48°c

(vi) Fuse wire correction = 10 cal.
(vii) Acid correction =60 cal.
Assuming the latent heat of condensation of steam as 580
cal/lgm, calculate Gross and net calorific values of the coal in
cal/gm.

ü)The sample of a coal have the following composition: C = 80%, S =
3.5%, N=2.1%, H =7%,0=3%and ash 4.4% Calculate the gross
and net calorific values of the coal using Dulong's formula.
