Dear Faculty Members and Students,

We’re thrilled to kick off today’s Hackathon! Below are the final details and instructions for both

● Dr. T Sampath
● Dr. Mohammad Ali
● Dr. Santosh Hegde
● Dr. Sasanka Sukar
● Dr. Ratnesh Ranjan

2. Evaluation Criteria

Your team will be assessed based on:

● Presentation: 20 Marks
● Clarity on Problem Statement: 30 Marks
● Code Complexity: 40 Marks
● Teamwork: 10 Marks

The evaluation team will visit each room to assess these aspects for each team.

3. Attendance

● Online Attendance: Faculty in each classroom will take attendance via a digital sheet
3 times randomly.
● Offline Attendance: Each student is required to sign an attendance sheet available in
their room. Please ensure both online and offline attendance is completed.
4. Event Flow

● Laptop Requirement: All students must bring a laptop.

● Problem Statement: Each team has been assigned a unique problem statement,
which they must complete. It is crucial that teams work on their assigned problem
only, as evaluators will verify each team’s solution based on the assigned
problem. Working on another team’s problem will get eliminated from the competition.
● Presentation and Coding:
○ Prepare a presentation/ppt detailing your approach to the problem.
○ Work on the coding task using any preferred IDE (online or local).
○ The evaluation team will review both your presentation and code, so be
prepared for assessment.

5. Submission

● A Google Form link for submissions will be shared at 4:00 AM.

● Each student must individually submit their files (problem statement, presentation, and
code in .zip format) by 8:00 AM.
● Note: Each student of every team must complete the submission form and submission
even if working in a team.

Instructions for Faculty

● Evaluation:
○ Evaluators will use an evaluation Excel sheet, where they can find each
team's assigned problem statement listed adjacent to the team name. Each
team has been given a unique problem statement.
○ Evaluation Process: The evaluator should first confirm the assigned
problem statement for each team and assess whether the team has
effectively solved that specific problem. This will be a primary evaluation
criterion.
