Resolution No. 01, s. 2023

Resolution Imposing Penalty for Parents/Guardians Not Attending Homeroom/General PTA Meeting,
School Parents-Teachers Conferences and Card Day/Distribution

Whereas, it was emphasized in our DepEd’s Mission that Family, community, and other stakeholders
are actively engaged and share responsibility for developing life-long learners.

Whereas, DepEd Order No. __________, s. 2023, School Calendar and Activities for the School Year
2023-2024, PTA Conferences and Cards Distribution. Public schools are required to conduct a year-
end General Assembly at the start of the school year, midway through the year, and at the end of
the school year to present the School Report Cards (SRC) and consult the assembly on how to better
achieve the vision, goals, and objectives of all stakeholders.

Whereas, DepEd Order No. ________, s. 2023 , School Calendar and Activities for the School Year
2023-2024, PTA Conferences and Cards Distribution. Parents-teacher and report cards distribution
shall be held not earlier than the second Saturday following the end of every quarter.

Whereas, DepEd Order No. ________, s. 2023, School Calendar and Activities for the School Year
2023-2024, PTA Conferences and Cards Distribution. Specifically, the parents-teacher conferences
are intended to apprise the parents of the progress and performance of their children and ensure
parental involvement in school activities.
Whereas, there are parents/guardians who did not prioritize attending school meetings, conferences
and card day due to some alibi or unreliable reasons.

Resolved, as it is hereby resolved to impose the following penalty for those parents who are absent
during Homeroom/General PTA Meetings, School Parents-Teachers Conferences and Report Card
Day/distribution.
1st absent ---- 50.00 and 3 Hour School Community Service/ 20.00 Per Hour
2nd Absent --- 100.00 and 3 Hour School Community Service/ 20.00 Per Hour
3rd Absent --- 150.00 and 3 Hour School Community Service/ 20.00 Per Hour
4rt Absent -- - 200.00 and 3 Hour School Community Service/ 20.00 Per Hour

Exemption: Will be considered as excuse if the reasons are supported by any legal documents
such as; medical/death certificate, proof of admission and or any other proof of emergencies that
can’t be avoided and unless special cases not mentioned above.

Resolved Further, that the collected amount from the penalties should be spent in SPTA Project with
program of work subject to usual processing and auditing.

Resolved Finally, that the above mentioned resolution will take effect immediately in the following
Homeroom/General PTA Meetings, School Parents-Teachers Conferences and Report Card
Day/distribution.
