Serology Test Result for Dengue

Method: ELISA

Dengue IgM Antibody: Negative

Note:
I. The result relates only to the received sample.
2. Positive results for either dengue NSI Ag or IgM indicate recent infection.
3. Equivocal samples require repeat testing.
4. The result obtained on a single sample does not constitute a sufficient proof for diagnostic of recent
infection. ·
5. JgM cross-reactivity across the flavivirusgroup (JE, West Nile) is common. These diseases must be
excluded before confirmation of diagnosis.
6. Kindly correlate with clinical findings.

Serology Test Result for SARS-CoV-2

SARS-Co V-2 Antigen: Negative

Method: Rapid Chromatographic Immunoassay

Note:
I. The results relate only to the specimen tested and should be correlated with clinical findings .
2. The test should be used for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen in human nasopharyngeal swab
specimens.
3. Neither the quantitative value nor the rate of SARS-CoV-2 antigen concentration can be determined by this
qualitative test.
4. A negative result may occur if the concentration of antigen in a specimen is below the detection/ limit of
the test or if the specimen was collected or transported improperly, therefore a negative test does not
eliminate the possibility of SARS-CoV-2 infection, and should be confirmed by molecular assay.
5. Positive test results do not rule out co-infections with other pathogens. ·
6. Negative test results are not intended to rule in other coronavirus infection except the SARS-CoV-2.
7. For more accuracy of immune status, additional follow up testing using other laboratory methods is
recommended.
