(Product Improvement)
Problem statement
Tax professionals face challenges in managing and integrating data from
various accounting systems, dealing with complex user interfaces, and
customizing tax reporting to meet specific client needs.
As a Product Manager, your task is to design and propose a new feature that
addresses one or more of these pain points, improving the overall user
experience and functionality of the platform.
Your response should be structured and concise with maximum of 5 pages
including visuals or diagrams if necessary
Features:
Data Entry Automation
Effortlessly send data to your accounting software within minutes, ensuring
quick and accurate extraction from multiple document types including
Excel, PDF, and scanned PDFs. This feature not only reduces manual effort
but also minimizes errors, streamlining your accounting processes and
boosting productivity.
Document Management
Easily upload and systematically store client documents in organized
folders. Mark important folders as favorites for quick access, and retrieve
documents from anywhere, ensuring efficient and secure document
management that enhances your accounting processes.
GST Reconciliation
Client Management
Easily setup accounts for clients, ensuring they have access to the relevant
information and tools they need. Assign specific roles to each client and
link them to the appropriate companies, ensuring the clients have access to
the only data that’s relevant to their role. Create roles to control the access
and permissions for various documents.

User Personas
1. Priya
She manages the finances for a mid-sized company and looks for software
that simplifies her workload and integrates with other systems seamlessly.
Pain points:
Difficulty calling and reminding supplier to file GSTR1 for a few invoices as
they didn’t get reflected in GSTR2B
2. Amit
Pain points:
📎 Most of the users fall into the user persona of Priya, especially
Accountants, CAs, and taxn professionals who would want to have a
streamlined process of managing clients, ERP integrations and
reconciliation process. So, I would like to go forward with the user
persona of Priya.
Solutions
1. The Multi GSTIN feature under each client allows an accountant to manage
all entities connected to a company from a single interface, eliminating the
need to search for each entity multiple times. This feature reduces
unnecessary clicks and streamlines the workflow. Accountants can create
customized dashboards, view comprehensive analytics, and generate
reports efficiently within this unified platform.
3. Create a detailed video for each feature page that explains its significance,
capabilities, and usage. This will ensure users can easily understand and
utilize the features without needing to leave the platform to search for
answers or send emails. This approach enhances user-friendliness and
keeps users engaged within the platform. (Current YouTube videos doesn’t
have much visibility on the platform and looks scattered in information)
4. Integrate with other ERP providers, such as SAP, to expand beyond Tally's
current user base (Tally ERP 9 is used by about 0.2% of companies in the
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) market). This integration will enhance
interoperability, making it easier for businesses using different ERP systems
to adopt and benefit from the platform.

Goal: Improving user experience and functionality
Summary
The proposed enhancements to Suvit, focusing on user experience and
functionality, aim to address key pain points faced by users. By introducing
features like "Remind Your Supplier" for timely GSTR-1 filings and detailed
instructional videos for each feature, Suvit can significantly improve user
experience. These improvements will streamline workflows, reduce manual
processes, and enhance overall productivity. Implementing these changes will
position Suvit as a more comprehensive and user-friendly platform, better
serving the needs of accountants, CAs, and tax professionals in India.
