1X1 TWISTED RIBBING

[p 1, k 1 tbl] until the end of round.

CABLE CHART

SLEEVES (make two)

Cast on 42 (46, 52, 54, 60) stitches on the
smaller double pointed needles. Place the
different color marker to indicate the
beginning of the round and join in round.
Make sure you don’t twist the stitches. Knit
the 1x1 twisted ribbing (see above) until the
piece measures 7.5 cm (3 inches) from the
cast on edge.

Change to the bigger double pointed needles.

Sizes XS, L, XL: p 1, k 5, p 1, pm, k until the end of the round

Sizes S and M only: p 1, k 5, p 1, pm, k2tog, k until the end of the round (1 st decreased)

Round 1 (all sizes): Work row 1 of the cable chart over the next 7 stitches, sm, k until the end of the round
Round 2 (all sizes): Work row 2 of the cable chart over the next 7 stitches, sm, k until the end of the round

Increase round: Work the appropriate row of the cable chart, sm, m1L, k until the end of the round, m1R (2
stitches increased)

Repeat the increase round every 6th (5th, 6th, 5th, 5th) round 12 (15, 15, 18, 19) more times while continuing
with the cable chart between the markers at the same time. You now have 68 (77, 83, 92, 100) stitches on
your needles.

Continue as established without any further increases until the sleeve is of desired length. (I made longer
sleeves for the sample knit, because I wanted to turn the cuffs up.)

Next round: remove the marker indicating the beginning of round, p 1, k 5, p 1, remove marker, k 0(0, 1, 2,
3) and place the previous 7, (7, 9, 11, 13) stitches on a stitch holder. Set the sleeve aside to wait and knit
the second sleeve similarly.

BODY
Cast on loosely 186 (206, 226, 246, 266)
stitches with the smaller circular needle. Place
the different color marker to indicate the
beginning of the round and join in round.
Make sure you don’t twist the stitches. Knit
the 1x1 twisted ribbing until the piece
measures 5 cm (2 inches) from the cast on
edge.

Change to the bigger needles. On the next

round [p 1, k 5, p1, pm, k 86 (96, 106, 116,
126)], pm, repeat [] one more time

Round 1: [work row 1 of the cable chart over

the next 7 stitches, sm, k until the next
marker, sm], repeat one more time
Round 2: [work row 2 of the cable chart over
the next 7 stitches, sm, k until the next
marker, sm], repeat one more time

Repeat these two rows until the body

measures 39(39, 40, 42, 42) cm or 15.5 (15.5,
16, 16.5, 16.5) inches) or desired length to
underarm.

RAGLAN YOKE
Knit across the body (front side) until you have 4 stitches left before the underarm cap. Place the different
color marker: this will be your new beginning of the round (right-front). [K 4, then k the first 3 stitches of
first sleeve, pm. Continue knitting across the sleeve stitches until you have 4 stitches left, pm. K 3 stitches
from the body, place a marker.] K across the backside of the body until you have 4 stitches left and place a
marker. Repeat [] one more time to attach the other sleeve. You should now have 8 markers in your work:

stitches on your needles.)
