Digital Interview Tips
1. Technical Preparation
o Environment: Ensure you have a quiet, well-lit space with a professional background.
o Tech Check: Test your internet connection, camera, microphone, and the platform (e.g.,
Zoom, HireVue) in advance.
o Tools: Keep your resume, job description, and notes handy.
o IDE/Demo Tools: If required, ensure you can share your screen and demonstrate coding or
testing skills.
2. Content Preparation
o Research the company (DTCC) and its focus on financial services. Understand how your
skills align with the Capital Market domain.
o Prepare examples of your experience with Selenium Java, SQL, and tools like JIRA, Git, or
Jenkins.
o Be ready to explain projects, challenges, and results in the STAR format (Situation, Task,
Action, Result).
3. Soft Skills
o Maintain good eye contact (look at the camera, not the screen).
o Speak clearly and avoid filler words ("um," "like").
o Stay calm and take a moment to collect your thoughts before answering.
4. Dress Code
o Business casual is usually appropriate for digital interviews.
