Section –A
1. In fig. AOB is a diameter of the circle and AC= BC then find ∠CAB

2. In given Figure, if ∠OAB = 40º, then find ∠ACB

3. The total surface area of a cube is 96 cm2. Then find volume of the cube
4. How many square metres of canvas is required for a conical tent whose height is 3.5 m and the
radius of the base is 12 m?
Section-B
1. If a line intersects two concentric circles (circles with the same centre) with centre O at A, B, C
and D, prove that AB = CD

2. In Fig. 10.37, ∠ PQR = 100°, where P, Q and R are points on a circle with centre O. Find ∠ OPR.

3. If diagonals of a cyclic quadrilateral are diameters of the circle through the vertices of the
quadrilateral, prove that it is a rectangle.
4. Prove that a cyclic parallelogram is a rectangle.

Section-C
1. The inner diameter of a circular well is 3.5 m. It is 10 m deep. Find
(i) its inner curved surface area,
(ii) the cost of plastering this curved surface at the rate of ` 40 per m2
2. The height of a cone is 16 cm and its base radius is 12 cm. Find the curved surface area and the
total surface area of the cone (Use π = 3.14).
3. A solid cube of side 12 cm is cut into eight cubes of equal volume. What will be the side of the
new cube? Also, find the ratio between their surface areas.
II) Find the curve surface area of a hemisphere of diameter: 3.5 m
4. The volume of sphere is 38808 cm3.Find its radius and hence its surface area.
5. A hemisphere of lead of radius 9 cm is cast into a right circular cone of a height 72 cm. find
radius of base of cone.
