    SHORT FORM LEASE AGREEMENT (“Lease”) entered into as of , 20

    BETWEEN:


    (“Lessor”)

    AND:

     (“Lessee”)

    WHEREAS Lessor is the owner of a  [make/model] aircraft, bearing manufacturer’s serial


    number  and Canadian registration marks C- (hereinafter the “Aircraft”), which Aircraft the
    parties have agreed will be leased by Lessor to Lessee, according to the terms and conditions
    herein provided.

    NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the sum of ten ($10.00) dollars and other good and
    valuable consideration (the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged), Lessor and
    Lessee hereby agree as follows:

    1. Lessor hereby agrees to lease the said Aircraft to Lessee for a period of  () years
    commencing on , 20 and ending on , 202. Either party may terminate this
    Lease on 30 days written notice or as otherwise agreed to between Lessor and Lessee
    (including notice to Transport Canada).

    2. The Lessee shall, during the term of the Lease:

    (a) be responsible for the custody and control of the Aircraft;

    (b) be responsible for the airworthiness, maintenance and operation of the Aircraft;

    (c) be responsible for insuring the Aircraft for such limits and coverage as shall be
    required by law and as otherwise satisfactory to the Lessor; and

    (d) provide only fully qualified pilots to operate the said Aircraft and Lessor
    acknowledges that Lessee has full operational authority over the pilots provided
    by Lessee and will not provide, directly or indirectly, any flight crew to operate
    the Aircraft during the term of the Lease; in the event that a flight crew member
    is employed Lessor (or a third party other than Lessee), Lessee shall enter into an
    operational agreement directly with such flight crew member confirming that,
    during the term of the Lease, Lessee shall have full operational authority over the
    flight crew member.
    3. The Aircraft is leased for commercial purposes.

    4. This Lease is delivered pursuant to the requirement for registration of the Aircraft on the
    Canadian Civil Aviation Registry.

    6. No other part of this Lease and no other legal document between the Lessor and the
    Lessee exist, concerning the Aircraft, which contradicts any statement that is required to
    be included in the Lease.

    7. Lessor and Lessee shall not sublease the Aircraft during the term of this Lease.

    8. This Lease shall be governed by the laws of the Province of  and the laws of Canada
    applicable therein.
