a crucial component of a successful marketing strategy.

Social Media
Best Practices

1 It is a best practice to have your usernames (@YOURNAME) be mirrored

across your accounts (except for your Facebook personal profile). Before
updating any of your usernames, take a few moments to think through what
you want to have as your new username. This updated username will change
the URL you use to direct people to your social platforms on your website, so
make sure to update the URLs (website addresses) on your website as well.

2 If you are in the process of changing brokerages, once you have

made all the changes suggested, make several announcements that
you have switched. Schedule these out over a month or so and vary the
week’s day and the time you post them to maximize audience reach.

3 If you are changing brokerages, use this as an opportunity

to reach out to your contact list to let them know you are
with a new brokerage and that you look forward to
continuing to serve their real estate needs.

4 On all platforms, make sure you like/

follow your brokerage’s accounts
from your personal account.
