1 visible inspection of AC cable inside trench is ok , no hits or scratches.
2 Cables description is correct and model # matches data sheets.
3 Install cables avoiding gas and water pipelines and under the sidewalk.
4 Determine road crosses and equip suitable size pipe to protect cables.
5 Cable trenches to be as straight as possible & as trench detailed drawing.
6 Trench depth is 1 m and width 40 cm for each single cable.
7 Pure sand beneath cable with 10 cm depth.
8 Pure sand above cable with 20 cm depth.
9 In case of unstraight route , bending should be 20 times cable diameter.
10 Install cable joints and inspect cable ( OC , SC ) , Visual damages.
11 Install cable joints ASAP before humidity get through cable isolation.
12 Cover cables with bricks or tiles as national grid code ( 8 bricks / meter ).
13 Interval depth distance between MV cables 30 cm at least.
14 Multiple cable route must have bricks in between with ( 8 bricks / meter )
15 Cover bricks with pure sand at least 30 cm.
16 Warning tape along the cable route with depth at least 30 cm.
17 Upper layer cover is normal soil with 30 cm depth at least & till surface.
18 Earthing cable from test link bars to earth Pit is ok and no loose.
19 Earthing internal cables from Kiosk , MV SG to test link is ok and no loose.
20 FAT certificate showing Cable code and Test SPECS.
