SCORING AND INTERPRETATION

The scoring method and interpretation of responses of Grade 11 STEM students. This study employs a quantitative
approach and correlational research design, utilizing survey questionnaire that incorporate a ordinal scale items and
ratings to every question to gather data from respondents.

The scoring method is structured around the likert scale and ratings, which is to measure the participants' rating regarding
the relationship between sleep patterns and academic performance. Respondents are presented with a Likert scaling
survey (strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree, and strongly disagree) to rate to every questions. Allowing for the
calculation of means score for each rating.

In addition to the likert scale, the study includes ratings every question that enable respondents to select specific sleep
patterns and academic performance. The responses from these rating question will be recorded to provide insight into the
relationship between sleep patterns and academic performance of the students.

The interpretation of the score is essential for understanding the implications of the findings. A high score on the likert
scale, indicating "strongly agree" or "agree," suggests that the respondent perceives a significant between sleep patterns
and academic performance. Conversely, a low score, reflecting "disagree" or "strongly disagree," indicates a lack of
perceived academic performance. A neutral response may suggest uncertainty or indifference regarding the impact of
sleep patterns and academic performance. The interpretation of the score will be as follow:
