Ans: The step-by-step process of study and learning is called scientific method.
5. A theory accepted today can be rejected in future. Explain how this can happen.
Ans: As better scientific tools and instruments become available, more and more observations can be made. It
may then be found that theory does not support the new observations.
6. Is science good or bad for us? Give reasons for your answer.
Ans: Science is neither good nor bad- it is a tool that can be used to benefit or harm us. Good use of science can
benefit us whereas wrong or evil use of science is harmful.
7. How can you differentiate limitations and harms of science. List down some limitations of
science.
Ans: The shortcomings and weaknesses are considered as limitations of science, but the wrong or evil use of
science is considered as harms of science.
