a operating system is a software that controls the operation of a computer and


directs the processing of programs. The functions are management, memory
management, process management, handling input and output, and controlling
peripheral devices such as disk drives and printers.

A system program is a type of computer program that is designed to run a computers hardware
and application systems . It maintains a computers basic functions .

A dos is an operating system that runs from a disk drive.An operating system is the software
that controls a computer's hardware.

4. Explain Windows

Windows is a collection of programs which controls the pc . It is also known as the operating
system . Windows allows the user to interact with the computer through the mouse keyboard
and microphone .
