Accessing Australian Standards via Techstreet

Please start by referring to the instructions on the Library page on this

topic: https://holmesglen.libguides.com/techstreet

When you register, if you do not receive a verification email, check

your junk mail.

 If you can't open Australian Standards pdfs after downloading

them, it may be because you have not installed to FileOpen App.
This app will be necessary for some (but not all) pdfs
downloaded from Techstreet.

 You will also need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat.

 If you are unable to open some Australian Standards, reinstall

FileOpen and try again.

Note: Any standard you download can only be opened on the

computer you used to download it.
 You cannot open a standard a classmate sent to you.
 If you put it on a USB drive and try it on another computer, it will
not open. You will need to install FileOpen and download the file
again on the computer you are using at the moment.

If you still are having problems, please contact Bridget Were in the
Library here or phone (03) 9564 1621
