Layout oriented storage control (LOSC)

In case of LOSC, the goods can not be directly moved from source to final destination. It first goes from
source to ID (Intermediate) point and then from ID point to final destination. We can perform various
activities at ID point like relabeling, weight measurement, lift and conveyer belt etc.

We can use LOSC +POSC combination but POSC comes first. LOSC is mainly used in material flow system
(MFS). The signal from EWM to MFS system goes through programmable control system (PCS).LOSC
works only for the handling unit management.

Business Process

Scenario- I am assuming here that goods are directly coming to inbound staging area from vendor. The
goods are then moved to ID point and then finally reached to final destination.

Two warehouse tasks created. One warehouse task for moving handling unit from inbound staging area
to ID point and one warehouse task for moving handling unit from ID point to final destination i.e.,
WAPR

Confirm the warehouse task for moving handling unit from inbound staging area to ID point

Status B is now disappeared for the other warehouse task. Confirm the final warehouse task.
