I. OBJECTIVES

A. Content Standards
The learners demonstrate understanding on how theatrical elements (sound, music, gestures, movement, and costumes) affect the
creation and communication of meaning in Asian Festivals and Theatrical forms as influenced by history and culture.
* Theater and performance as a synthesis of arts and a significant expression of the celebration of life in various Asian communities.

B. Performance Standards
The learner creates appropriate festivals attire with accessories based on authentic festival costumes.
* creates/improvises appropriate sound, music, gestures, movements and costumes for a chosen theatrical composition.
* takes part in a chosen festival or in a performance in a theatrical play.
C. Learning Competencies
* Identifies selected festivals and theatrical forms celebrated all over the Asian region

* Identifies the elements and principles of arts as manifested in Asian festivals and theatrical forms (Week 4).

1. Applied powder on your face and toothpaste for the eyebrows
