1. The initial voltage across the capacitor at t=0 in the circuit shown is Vo
= 3V.
a. Find voltage v(t), t≥ 0, across the capacitor and plot v(t).
b. Find current i (t ) , t ≥ 0, through the capacitor and plot i(t).

2. The switch in the circuit shown in figure has been closed for a long time
before it is opened at t = 0.
a. Find the initial voltage Vo across the capacitor at t = 0.
b. After switch is opened, find the resistance seen from the capacitor.
c. Find the time constant.
d. Find the voltage v(t) across the capacitor for t ≥ 0 and plot v(t) for
t ≥ 0.
3. The initial current through the inductor at t = 0 in the circuit shown in
figure is i ( 0 )=I 0=8 mA .
a. Find current i (t ) , t ≥ 0, through the inductor.
b. Find voltage v ( t ) ,t ≥0 , across resistor R3.
