Performance Task 2

During asynchronous sessions, the routines that I can offer to parents in order for
their children to have more successful learning outcomes are that parents should be good
communicators and speak with their children in an acceptable manner. It's also important for
parents to improve their skills and abilities in order to give the best learning opportunities for
their children. And, to keep things simple, I'll inquire about the children's parents and what
they do on a daily basis to encourage them to assist their children. For instance, ask parents if
there are any portions of the routine that the child can do on their own or with a little help—
and then let them. Parents, however, should be flexible, in my opinion. I'll also encourage
parents to give their children a choice in activities or routine tasks wherever possible.

Writing my Reflection
Complete the statement:

Having effective class routines and sound class structure is important because:
It’s important to define why we undertake it and how we put it into practice. For routines, that
means analyzing our routines with this question in mind. These routines help you maintain
order and also help the kids stay calm. If there is a set activity for every part of the day, you
will be able to focus more on your teaching and less on giving instructions and generally
controlling the class. This is just one of many reasons routines are important for teachers.
