Compiler Design:

Refer Youtube videos of Ravindra babu ravula, it covers more than 80%.(Recomended)

It covers more than 90% of syllabus, and you can attempt any qustions from propositional logic
very easily.

If you don’t have time, atleast see first 8 videos, you can be very comfortable with propositional
logic.

Graph Teory:

She is damn good at Graph theory. (There are some videos of Discrete maths also there.)

But you have to solve lot questions to understand exactly.

DBMS:

It covers 60% syllabus. Please complete this vidoes if you are having time, there are some
videos of Query processing and optimization don’t watch them. They are not in the syllabus.

For B-tree B+-trees go through youtube videos, there are plenty on them.

for DBMS.

Recomended to watch all videos, but it doesn’t cover entire syllabus.


Focus more on paging, multi level paging.

CN:

I don’t find proper videos. From some sources I heard that Ravindrababu ravula very good at CN.
(highly recomendable)
DAA:

I completed a NOC course taught by Madhavan mukundh. Those videos are only accessable to
who registered the course. That Course is conducting two times in a year. Register to that course.
(Highly Recomended). Those videos are simple and straight. You can solve easily DP and Greedy
problems easily.

GateOverflow
Now you don’t understand how much best resource it is. If you want any reference for ant
topic post your question on that page. They help you. Open atleast once in a day see other people
doubts and answers to them. I think they release GateBook every year. I don’t know much about
that book.

*Don’t solve questions which are provided by ACE and MadeEasy Training Institutes.
*After completion of each topic, directly start solving previous year questions.

Test series:

Dont take test series very seriously, your taking those tests to learn. Don’t feel bad if you get less
marks.
** focus on the questions which you did wrong and not attempted.

Recomendable test series: VirtualGate, GateBook, Gateoverflow, madeeasy.


I don’t know about Ravindrababu ravula’s test series

For mathematics, I didn’t prepare that much. I lose some marks here.
I just revised My Intermediate maths.

Don’t leave probability. It’s very important, you don’t know the value of it now.

**Don’t stop your preparation after the Gate Exam Like me, Do prepare until you can get into
IIT. Because There are some IITs which will conducts exam based on your gate score.
