PART 1 GENERAL

1.4 SUBMITTALS
C. Samples:
1. For each finish product specified, two samples representing product, color, and patterns.
B. Storage:
1. Store materials in clean, dry area indoors in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
2. Store wall and ceiling panels flat.
PART 2 PRODUCTS
2.1 MANUFACTURER
2.3 ACCESSORIES
A. Construction Adhesive: PL400 or Liquid Nails, as recommended by wall and ceiling panel
manufacturer.
PART 3 EXECUTION
3.1 EXAMINATION
B. Notify Architect of conditions that would adversely affect installation or subsequent use.
3.2 PREPARATION
A. Prepare wall and ceiling panels for installation in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
3.3 INSTALLATION
A. Install wall and ceiling panels in accordance with manufacturer's instructions at locations
indicated on the Drawings.
B. Install wall and ceiling panels plumb, level, square, flat, and in proper alignment.
D. Ceiling Panels: Anchor ceiling panels with fasteners in accordance with manufacturer's
instructions.
E. Wall Panels: Anchor wall panels with construction adhesive and fasteners in accordance with
manufacturer's instructions.
F. Fasteners:
1. Install fasteners 16 inches to 24 inches on center into nailing fins.
2. Fastening into Wood or Metal: Stainless Steel or Zinc coated, 1 inch
No. 10 pancake head screw.
3. Keep top of screw head 1/16 inch above top of nailing fins, allowing panels to move
4. slightly.
5. Do not recess screw heads into nailing fins.
Ensure nailing fins lay flat against surface, not deformed around screw heads.
Ensure fasteners are not exposed.
3.4 ADJUSTING
A. Repair minor damages to finish in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and as approved
by Architect.
B. Remove and replace damaged wall and ceiling panels in accordance with manufacturer's
instructions.
3.5 CLEANING
A. Clean wall and ceiling panels promptly after installation in accordance with manufacturer's
instructions.
B. Do not use harsh cleaning materials or methods that could damage finish.
3.6 PROTECTION
A. Protect installed wall and ceiling panels from damage during construction.
