Summary:

The FAME team is seeking an AFA-Senior Developer with a passion for finding innovative solutions to test modern SaaS
products.

Since the founding of our company in 1978, FAME has been dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of postsecondary
educational institutions both those participating in the Federal financial aid programs and those seeking quality,
affordable Student Information Systems.

In this position you will take an active role in the development of projects, both large and small, throughout the various
phases of the project life cycle. You will work both independently as well as collaboratively throughout the full
development life cycle of our software. This position will be part of a team designing, developing, and maintaining large
scale web applications using varying technologies such as .NET, CI/CD, SSRS, and SQL server technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software


• Continuously analyze and strengthen existing applications for reliability, availability, security, and scalability
• Contribute to changes in development standards and processes
• Conduct full stack diagnostics when necessary to help determine the root cause of problems
• Contribute to the continual improvement of solutions, systems, and processes
• Work on a highly collaborative team
• Implement best coding practices with a willingness to improve and learn

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field preferred
• 5+ Years of experience with .NET C#, SQL, SSRS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, React, EF, NHibernate,
Web Api's
• Knowledge of OOP design patterns and their implementation
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructures and design patterns including REST API's
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience using software tools like JIRA, TeamCity, RedGate, SourceTree, Bit Bucket, Postman

Good to have:

• Knowledge in Financial Aid
