The influence of an electric field of prescribed symmetry (crystalline field) on an atom is treated
wave- mechanically. The terms of the atom split up in a way that depends on the symmetry of the
field and on the angular momentum I (or J) of the atom. No splitting of s terms occurs, and p terms
are not split up in fields of cubic symmetry.
The colour for coordination compound can be predicted using the crystal field theory .. Knowing the
colour can have a number of useful applications, such as the creation of pigments for dyes in the
textile industry. The tendency for coordination complexes to display such a wide array of colours is
merely coincidental; their absorption energies happen to fall within range of the visible light
spectrum. Chemists and physicists often study the colour of a substance not to understand its sheer
appearance, but because colour is an indicator of a chemical's physical proprieties on the atomic level.

Electrochemistry and its principles constitute the fundamental base for the evolution of numerous
entities of the physical world and are also essential for all activities of living beings. As a matter of
course, electrochemical technology based on electrochemistry also plays an important role in many
modern manufacturing processes and products especially in the fields of micro technology which
revolutionize almost all aspects of everyday life. Electrochemistry shows wide acceptability in
achieving required shape of products and implementation in micro manufacturing processes, which
has been established as a multibillion-dollar market with applications in information, entertainment,
medical, automotive, telecom, and many other technologies [1]. Various specialized scientific and
technological fields, such as microelectronics, sensors, material science, micro and neurobiology, and
medicine, challenge researchers to develop, improve, and apply electrochemistry principles for new
micro techniques which feature both high lateral and vertical resolution.
