organizationa skill and professional compentencies like varied teaching strategies, were least displayed and
as a result, students were/class was less engaged or motivated, lacking structure and experiencing limited
adatability

REFLECT The lack of these personal traits and professional compentencies (mentioned in # 1) caused by time
constraints, lack of resources ,classroom dynamic and challenges

PLAN I would like to address this problem (mentioned in #2) by conducting an action research on how to
develop the skills of 21st centuy teachers, especially in utilizing ICT in class

2. ACT
A. )The main objective of my action research is to enhance the skills of teachers in using digital tools
effectively in their lesson to make learning more engaging for students
B. )My specific research question are:
I. What training methods are most effective to help teachers utilize technology into their teaching
II. How can the use of technology in the classroom affect student engagement?
III. What strategies work the best when using technology in the classroom

C)To answer my specific rsearch question,I will gather information by interviewing and surveying the
teachers. I will also observe the classroom routines and procedures and analyze the feedback of the
students on their learniing experiences .With that, I can understand th problems and identify effective
strategies for improvement.

not been explained clearly and in way that foster understanding
3. Attention - I observed that the students struggle to maintain focuse during class hours, they
became easily distracted by various factors
4. Discipline - I have noticed that the students shows lack ofdiscipline when it comes to completing oft
their assigned task, often failing met expectations in a timely and responsible manner
5. Behavior - Some of the students shows some of the behavioral issues that can hinder their ability
to meet their needs effectively, creating it more challenging in their learning and development.

Notice
What have you noticed of the problem identified above? Can there be more than one solution to the problem?

Explain : Yes, there will be more than solution in certain problem.Different strategies work for different
studets. By offering multiple solution, teachers can tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs and
preferences as well to support a more inclusive and effective learnig environment.

Analyze
Let us try to look into the following scenarios in the daily life of a teacher. This scenario might be to the class
you have observed and noticed.

Scenario A: Miss Fely is a grade four teacher in a typical elementary school. She has forty learners in her class.

One half of them cannot classify animals into vertebrates and invertebrates. She has been repeating the same
science lesson for two weeks, yet no progress was observed. This situation has been bothering Miss Fely.

 Can you identify, Miss Fely’s problem?

The problem appears to be that the teaching apprach of Miss Fely is not effective for all her learners in her
science lesson despite of repeating it for two weeks.

 Can you find a solution to solve her problem? Give your two suggestions your two suggestions.
A. Focus on more engaging lesson that the students can stay focused and understand the lesson such as the
interactive learning games.
B. Use of Formative assessments

 What solution can solve Miss Fely’s problem?

The best solution is to have a interactive activties, creatinga more dynamic and resposive learnings
environment.

 How?
It allows the students to be actively participate inside of he classroom and improve their ability in classifying a
certain lesson.

 Are they matched with the problem?

Yes ,I think it is matched and effectively can solve the problems

Scenario B:Sir Ryan teaches in a disadvantages urban community. Most of his learners come from families
that are disrupted, either with single parents or with their guardians who stand only as parents. They are
deprived of the necessary food, clothing and shelter.

 Can you identify the most probable teaching learning problems in the class of Sir Ryan?
A. Absenteeism
B. Emotional and Behavioral Challenges

 Can you propose a solution to solve one of the problems that you have identified?
The early intervention strategies that I will implement is first, it is to understand the reason for this
problems which could be the range of personal and families diffculties.Building positive relationships with
students and making learning engaging and relevant can help improve both attendance and behavior, as
students are more likely to participate when they feel supported and interested. Clear communication with

parents and guardians is vital, as is setting clear expectations for both attendance and behavior, along with
consistent follow-up on consequences. Offering support services, such as counseling or mentoring, can also
address underlying issues, while restorative practices can help repair conflicts and foster a stronger sense of
community. By implementing individualized solutions and creating a classroom environment where students
feel value.

Reflect
After reading the two scenarios given above, how would identifying problematic situations and finding
solutions to these problems help you to become a better teacher?

Explain:

As a future educator, it is important to recognize and understand the unique needs and challenges of
every student. The given situations or scenario reuquires a timely and effective solutions that not only address
these challenges but also foster in improving the student outcomes.By responding proactively, I can ensure
that every students need are met promote a positve and support learning environment. As well, it helps
develop my adaptability, patience, and decision-making skills, enabling in responding effectively to challenges.
Over time, this reflective practice enhances myr teaching methods, strengthens my classroom management,
and ultimately leads to a more engaging, inclusive, and supportive educational experience for all students.
