Course Description Review of fundamentals of power systems and modeling power system
components for power transmission and distribution, analytical methods for
calculation of line parameters, and performance analysis of transmission lines,
cable and overhead line insulators.

Objective and The course aims to enable students:
Competency ➢ To review electrical energy generation from conventional and
nonconventional energy sources.

according to the time table indicated.
➢ 80% of class attendance is mandatory!
➢ Please try to be on time for class. Students will not allow entering if late
more than five minutes.
➢ Active participation in class is essential
➢ Cell phones MUST be turned off before entering the class.
