Job Description:

TradeMaster LLC, a pioneering startup specializing in rule-based trading executions,


has recently launched a trading bot connected to Interactive Brokers (IBKR) as a
subscription service. We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Full-Stack Software
Engineer to manage and enhance our trading platform as we scale. This role is
essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our product.

Key Responsibilities:

 Backend Development: Maintain and optimize our Flask-based backend code


to ensure reliable and efficient rule-based trading executions.
 API Integration: Manage and refine connections with third-party APIs, including
IBKR, to maintain seamless execution and data integration.
 Web Development: Improve the user-facing interface, ensuring an intuitive and
responsive experience for our subscribers.
 Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee and optimize our AWS server environment,
ensuring it meets the demands of scalability, security, and availability.
 Deployment & Maintenance: Lead the deployment process, address technical
issues, and ensure the stability and performance of the platform.
 Security: Implement and enforce security best practices to protect data and
ensure the integrity of our web applications and cloud infrastructure.
 Monitoring & Analytics: Establish monitoring tools to track platform
performance and user engagement, providing actionable insights for continuous
improvement.
 Support: Provide technical support and address any user issues, enhancing the
user experience based on feedback.

Required Skills:

 Expertise in Python with experience in Flask.


 Strong background in API development and integration.
 Proficient in front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
 Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure management.
 Familiarity with database management (SQL or NoSQL).
 Knowledge of security best practices for web applications and cloud services.
 Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a fast-
paced startup environment.
 Experience with trading platforms or financial services is highly preferred.
 Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
 Experience with Docker and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
 Understanding of rule-based trading executions and trading-related
technologies.
 Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to
ensure the platform's reliability and performance.
