 Blue Underlines: Indicate potential grammar or contextual errors.

You can right-click on any underlined word or phrase to see suggestions and make

Manual Spelling and Grammar Check

1. Go to the Review tab on the Ribbon.


2. Click Spelling & Grammar (or press F7).
3. Word will open a panel that shows each issue one by one. You can choose to
Change, Ignore, or Add to Dictionary if it’s correct but uncommon.

Additional Options

 Grammar and Refinement Options: To check more than just basic grammar
(such as clarity and conciseness), go to File > Options > Proofing, and enable
additional grammar and writing style checks under Settings.
