Objectives
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to compare two animals using the adjectives.
Activities
1. Have ppls open their books to page 86, direct ppls attention to the vocabulary section and play
the CD “Track 43”, have ppls point to the correct picture and repeat.
2. Direct ppls to the pictures of animal, ppls identify the animals. Ppls read the adjectives and
check what they know.
3. Divide ppls into pairs, they will choose the animals they like and tell their partner why they like
them, in turns.
1. 4. Divide ppls into pairs, one of them should bring the picture of their favourite animal and
her/his partner should describe it.

Objectives
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and read for pleasure.
Activities
1.Introduce the story using pictures of the characters. Refer SB pg 88-89 .Have pupils read the story.
2. Have pupils do an activity in groups. They tell each other what they liked about the story. Encourage pupils to use the
adjectives from previous lessons.
3.Have the groups discuss what they think will happen at the end. Get one or two
pupils to narrate story to class.
4. The rest of the group members can act out the story.

Objectives
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to compare two animals..
Activities
1. Ppls bring the pictures of their favourite animal, stick them on the board and elicit the pictures,teacher
asks different ppls to talk about their favourite animals.
2. Play the CD 2 Track 46, ask ppls to follow along in their books and choose a few ppls to read the text.
3. Ask ppls comprehension questions, have ppls check their answers in pairs then check ppls answer as a
class.
4. Teacher explains the writing tips to ppls, elicit the plan that help ppls organize information for writing
their project. Teacher explain about conjuctions and elicit the technique of writing.
5. Teacher asks pupils make a writing plan about their favourite animal.
